fine cuisine

Heylo. I can't upload pictures. Humph.

On saturday night, went to Orchid country club and had dinner at Kitagawa. A really superb japanese restaurant! I could say they serve the best japanese fare! It was so damn good, i think i was smiling throughout the whole dinner. Had their famous dragon roll, which sounds corny, but tastes fantastic. It consist of fish roe, unagi, pumpkin tempura and some other things. Finger-lickin' good. I'm sorry mr KFC. Then we had this deep fried fish which is seasonal, and it was so crispy, you just eat the whole thing, including the bones. Lotsa calcium! The whole meal was kinda expensive, but totally worthwhile.

After dinner, went to this place which i've no idea what is it called. Hmm is it yishun dam or kranji dam? Haha i'm clueless. Nevertheless, it is an awesome place to go for a late night stroll. The view is pretty scenic and thanks to the uncle selling ice cream, i had a nice dessert to satisfy myself while enjoying the view. People actually had barbeque there. Haha.

The following night, my grandma wanted to treat us to dinner. So we went to chinatown for both dinner and fireworks watching. Walked to clark quay after a indulging meal and stood by the singapore river, waiting for the national day fireworks. Hmm it was a bit of a disappointment because it was kinda short and not exactly magnificent. The fireworks display during esplanade's opening a few years back was so much more sensational!

So today, just came back from parkway parade for lunch. Bought my water bottle. Thank god! No more same bottle with ivan. Bought a SV's disc too, much to my delight. Alright, i am feeling a little antsy now, because i have a lot of assignments to be completed and i know i can't finish them today. Gahhhh.
